Northern Eye Surgeons was established in 2011 by Dr Brad Johnson as the first ophthalmic practice to specialise in macular degeneration and other retinal diseases in the northern suburbs of Perth.
In 2014, Dr Joshua Yuen joined the practice. His expertise in glaucoma surgery has been a great addition to Northern Eye Surgeons, and one much needed in Perth's northern suburbs.
In 2020, Dr Jane Lock joined the practice specialising in neuro-ophthalmology and paediatric ophthalmology.
Dr Chathri Amaratunge has also joined the practice in 2022 practising in all aspects of general ophthalmology.
We are open Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.

You will never have any problems with parking at our clinic. There are plenty of bays and they are all free.

We offer the highest quality care, locally, which is extremely important for diseases that require regular treatment such as wet macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
We are very proud of the state-of-the-art equipment in our practice, which has involved a substantial investment. We are the only practice in the northern suburbs to offer a full retinal service, with OCT scanning, fluorescein angiography, intravitreal injections and retinal laser.
We also provide a high-quality cataract service with the gold-standard IOL Master 700, corneal topography, immersion a-scanning and keratometry.
